Furthermore, if the account from state police is accurate, she additionally escalated the situation with the police by not coming to the door when they knocked and hanging up on their phone calls. I don't know if the subsequent actions by the police were entirely justified (in part because Ms. Jones' past conduct leaves some doubt as to the accuracy of her account), but she could have avoided that by simply opening the door.
If police have a warrant, they're going to get in one way or another. If you force them to choose "another", you've made yourself go up at least a notch on the "likely to pose a threat to the safety of the police" scale.
It seems like something is missing from the end of this newsletter. Normally you put in some analysis after citing other people's graphs / maps.
My email version cut off the last sentence of text before the map and then had a heading that said "Disney Shorts" with nothing after it.
